Lyttelton indie-folk artist & singer/songwriter Mel Parsons rounds off the year with another mesmerising single from her upcoming new album, due out 2022. ‘Already Gone’ hits head-on, its bruising new wave urgency is dark and intense - the perfect follow up to the album’s first single ‘Carry On’. Co-written with Josh Logan, who also takes production credits, and recorded at LOHO Studios in Ōtautahi/Christchurch, ‘Already Gone’ taps into the feeling of having emotionally checked out of a situation that you are still physically present in. Parsons is touring Aotearoa/New Zealand in support of the release in December.
